In order to prevent infection of Covid-19, Bokaro Steel Management is undertaking sanitization in the offices and departments inside and outside the plant including Bokaro General Hospital and various areas of the city on a war footing.
In this episode, the blast furnace, coke oven, sinter plant, SMS, RMHP, CRM, hot strip mill, slabbing mill and other departments, CISF pass section, plant main gate, steel gate, CISF barracks, canteen and welfare buildings inside the plant are constantly being sanitized. Apart from this, sanitization of BGH and various areas of the city is also being done continuously by teams of Fire Service Department and BSL Public Health Department as per protocol.
Similarly, the work of fogging in the township is also continuing. Apart from this, according to the guidelines received from the Central Zoo Authority in the Nehru park sanitization is being done as per rules by dry slaked lime and other disinfectants. Safety kits have been provided to all the employees of the park and special monitoring of animals is being done.
