‘Online Samadhan Portal’ inaugurated at CCL
The 'Online Samadhan Portal' was launched in CCL which was inaugurated by Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Personnel), CCL. General Manager (Samadhan), Rashmi Dayal, General Manager (Systems), V.S. Maharaj, Technical Secretary to Director (Personnel), Navneet Kumar, Nodal Officer, Samadhan Headquarters, Ankur Minocha, General Managers, Head of Departments and Regional Nodal Officers were present on the occasion. Director (Personnel), HN Mishra said that now anyone can register his/her problems on an online samadhan portal, which can be tracked online. The problems registered will be resolved in a time bound manner. It may be noted that under the leadership of CMD, CCL, P.M. Prasad's, the company is committed to become a "Zero Grievances Company". For the past few years, samadhan centers are being operated in all regions along with the headquarters to redress the problems of the stakeholders including CCL employees in the company and to bring transparency in the entire system.
Saharsa Exp to have 2 extra coaches
Train number 13227/13228 being operated between Rajendranagar Terminal and Saharsa by East Central Railway from 09.01.2023, changing the coach composition of Rajendranagar Terminal- Saharsa-Rajendranagar Terminal Intercity Express permanently to ordinary class Additional two coaches will be installed. After the change in coach composition, this train will have a total of 20 coaches including nine Chair Car, one Air Conditioned Chair Car, eight General Class, and one each of SLR and Luggage/Brake Van respectively.
Growth in freight loading and earnings of SER
South Eastern Railway has loaded 149.23 Million Tonnes of originating freight in the first nine months (April-December) of the current financial year (2022-23) registering a growth of 4.14 per cent in comparison to the corresponding period of previous financial year. During this period, the revenue generation from originating freight loading has also increased to Rs 13315.29 crore as against Rs. 11916.82 crore in the same period of the previous year. Therefore, the earnings performance of SER has enhanced by 11.74 per cent. SER has also registered a remarkable growth in Coal loading in the first nine months i.e. April to December of the current financial year (2022-23). During this period, SER has loaded 38.05 Million Tonnes of Coal, which is 24.92 per cent more than the corresponding period of previous fiscal. Cement loading has also registered a growth of 23.24 per cent with a loading of 11.56 Million tonnes during this period.
Yoga Session by CMPDI RI-III
CMPDI’s Regional Institute -III, Ranchi organised Yoga Sessions from 02.01.2023 to 04.01.2023 under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav for the students of Utkramit Madhya Vidyalay, Bhuiyantoli, Mccluskiganj. Students participated in this event with great enthusiasm. Yoga Guru Shri Sanjay Purwe teaches various Yoga Asanas to students which will help students to develop concentration and maintain good physical and mental health.
Medical Help, assistance provided to lady passenger
Railways provided medical help and assistance to a lady passenger suffering from head injury who was travelling by 18452 Puri-Hatia Tapaswini Express on January 4, 2023. A passenger called on Railway Helpline No. 139 and complained that some co-passengers attacked his wife and caused head injury during a scuffle with him. He also requested for RPF and medical assistance during his phone call. After receiving the complaint, the Office of the Minister of Railways took immediate cognizance and the complainant was contacted for details of the incident. Amit Ranjan and his wife Varsha were provided with RPF assistance and medical facility at the next station Bano under the jurisdiction of South Eastern Railway. They were also provided assistance till Hatia station for their comfortable and safe journey. Simultaneously, the accused was taken into custody and was handed over to the GRP at Hatia Police Station.
