PNS

Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav has assured that all preparations are in place for the fair and peaceful conduct of the NEET (UG) 2025 examination. In a high-level meeting held at the Collectorate auditorium, she instructed officials to ensure full compliance with National Testing Agency (NTA) guidelines and to maintain vigilance across all eight designated exam centers in the district.

Strict measures such as CCTV surveillance, installation of signal jammers, and prior inspections by district-level committees have been mandated. The DC emphasized coordinated efforts among departments including education, electricity, and traffic for smooth exam execution. Special provisions, including wheelchairs and assistants for differently-abled candidates, will be arranged at all centers, along with uninterrupted power supply and backup generators.

Examinees must carry their admit card, a passport-size photograph, and valid ID proof. Pens will be provided at the centers, and items such as electronic devices, printed materials, food, and wallets are strictly prohibited. Any violation of these rules will be treated as use of unfair means.

SP Manoj Swargiyari confirmed robust security arrangements with deployment of both male and female personnel and frisking teams equipped with hand-held metal detectors. City Coordinator Manoj Kumar presented a detailed overview of exam protocols and preparations during the session. The administration has also clarified it will not be responsible for the safety of personal belongings left outside the exam premises.
