Buoyed with the youths’ interest across the country for opting cashless transactions, the government in the State has roped in youth wing members to educate the villagers with the know-how. launching the campaign named Digital Paisa with garlanding the statue of Paramveer Chakra awarded martyr Albert Ekka at the Chowk named after him, Bhartiya Janta Yuwa Morcha (BJYM) State In-Charge Kamran Bahadur said that the Wing would target educating maximum number of people.

BJYM is formally launching the programme on December 6 from every district of the State simultaneously, which would continue till December 11. Garlanding the statue of martyr Albert Ekka was followed by a Signature campaign at the Chowk only, where hundreds of youth from BJYM supporting cashless transaction took oath of using mobile banking as much as possible and educating others also to do the same.

Advocating party-line from Centre to State over the matter, Bahadur said at the occasion that the demonetization was going to break the backbone of black money hoarders and a new dawn of corruption free country was just stone’s away. He said that the results had started appearing in different parts of the country with black money hoarders finding no safe house for them at all.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi believes that the demonetization would help the country get rid of corruption, black money and fake currency notes. He has once again shown his trust over the youth of the country, rightly so with obvious reasons, to lead the campaign to educate those not familiar with cashless transactions,” said Bahadur.

BJYM State President Amit Kumar said that the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister have already announced spending recovered black money in the well-being of the poor and under-privileged of the society and for other welfare related programmes. “We will launch a Statewide campaign of educating people about how to use their mobile phones for shopping, fund transfers and other mobile banking activities. The week-long campaign will be launched on December 6 in all the districts simultaneously. Though we have not set any target yet, our only goal will be to reach out to as many people as possible,” said Kumar.

He added that the people will also be educated to use their debit/credit cards wisely in terms of safety, and also about using their Aadhar number for cashless transactions. Hundreds of BJYM members and office bearers including Sushil Dubey, Arvinder Singh Khurana, Rohit Sharda, Tushar Vijayvargeeya and others were present at Albert Ekka Chowk on Saturday.
