BJP takes a dig at Govt on police investigation

PNS

State BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo today said that even at the end of the year, the issue of threatening to kill the Chief Minister has not been resolved, putting a question mark on the system. Pratul said that through two emails on 8 and 17 July, the Chief Minister Hemant Soren, his family members and close officials were threatened to be murdered. A case was registered at the cyber police station in Ranchi and the case was then handed over to the CID.

Shahdeo said that the servers for both the emails were Germany and Switzerland. Now after about five and a half months CID has decided to urge the court to send a request letter to Germany and Switzerland. When the research on the threat of assassination of the CM is going on at such a slow pace and even after more than five months, the situation of common people cannot be thought about.

sWhatever the officials claim, there is an atmosphere of chaos in the State, he said. Pratul said that the police personnel are taking on the Naxalites even today in the rugged areas under adverse conditions. But due to the state of uncertainty at the government level and not taking concrete decisions, their morale may go down.
