Nandji Prasad, the newly -appointed president of the BJP East Singhbhum district, has said that winning four Assembly seats of Jugsalai, Ghatshila, Jamshedpur West and Bahragora out of the total six in the district will be his priority and he will work accordingly.

With the Assembly polls expected any time from now, the JP, the leading Opposition party in the State, is turning into election mode and is eying to form the next Government.

It has already started chalking out strategies for the big battle. The saffron party has removed its district president Rajkumar Srivastava, who was facing ire of the party workers due to irregularities.

“We need to get ready to face the Assembly election as there is every possibility that election in Jharkhand will be held shortly,” said Prasad. He urged the party workers and leaders to visit in rural belts and highlight the dismal performance of the State Government to ensure that the next government at the State be formed by the BJP.

The black belt holder and the general secretary of All India Karate-Do Association, Prasad was appointed as the president on Thursday. Prasad is looking forward to his new stint of being president of district. “I thank the party for the responsibility. My priority is to help BJP win the four Assembly seats in East Singhbhum. We already have Jamshedpur East and Potka and my focus would be to garner support from rest four - Jugsalai, Ghatshila, Jamshedpur West and Bahragora”.

Stressing on the importance of winning the four Assembly seats, Prasad added every seat was vital for BJP returning to power in Jharkhand. He said that the party has decided to intensify the campaign against the State regime.  “We have decided to call regular meetings at party’s office to discuss poll strategies. We must spread party’s message in every nook andcorner of the society. Voters should be explained about party’s vision and motivated to bring party back to power,” noted the district president.
