BJP shows might ahead of polls in Jharkhand

The BJP, working hard on the Mission 42 plus, showed its might ahead of Assembly polls due in November this year and managed to gather a huge crowd of over one lakh at Prabhat Tara ground where Prime Minister Narendra Mod gifted as many as six Information Technology and power related projects to the State.

Modi’s gifts to Jharkhand, allegedly facing step-motherly treatment from the Centre for the last several decades, may have far reaching impact on the State’s economy after the completion of these projects.

“It was a grand show by the Prime Minister, giving a historical turn to the social and political goals of the State,” said State BJP president Ravindra Rai. “The country as well as Jharkhand is going through a wave of change which will be witnessed during the coming Assembly elections in the State,” he added.

“Modi’s speech has given the people of Jharkhand a chance to get out of the sense of insecurity and frustration and set new goals for their future,” Rai said.

Other senior BJP leaders also hailed Modi for his popularity among the masses and pulling unprecedented crowd at the venue.

“The BJP has shown its power during PM’s visit which also proved that there is no comparison of the popularity enjoyed by Modiji in this country,” said State BJP vice president Deepak Prakash. Despite having peak season of sowing and transplantation, farmers as well as general people from all over the State came here to take a glance at their Prime Minister, added Prakash.

“Even after three months of general elections, Modi fever persists in the country and the manner in which he fulfilled his commitment merely after three months of his becoming the Prime Minister of India, definitely has given a positive message to the people of this state,” said Prakash.

According to Prakash, the sense of insecurity which was there in the minds of the people a few months back, seems to have been washed away by the PM’s positive gesture. “By gifting the six Power and IT related projects to Jharkhand Modi has also given a message that the central government is now sensitive and serious to the development of this state,” he said.

Prakash further added that Modi through his speech and commitment towards Jharkhand has proved that it is only he who can make the dreams of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, come true for this state.

Calling his speech as unprecedented and historical, Prakash said that it is Modi’s speech, which made thousands and thousands of his supporters stand at Prabhat Tara ground for hours despite heavy rains.

According to the party insiders, Modi’s programme in Ranchi is being seen as a beginning of election campaign in the State and is said to have initiated a fresh wave of enthusiasm in the veins of the party workers. “Modi’s firebrand speech was really motivating for the workers who will now put themselves into the election campaign with a fresh energy in their blood,” said a senior party leader requesting anonymity.

Despite being a government programme, people from all over the State had come with BJP flags, banners and posters sporting on their vehicles. Slogans of ‘Modi Zindabad’ could be seen all around during the programme.
