Party members will write slogans “Ek Baar Phir Se Modi Sarkar” and “Ek Baar Phir Se Bhajpa Sarkar” on walls in over 10.72 lakh places after its president J P Nadda launches the exercise from the national capital.

In the State capital, State President and MP Deepak Prakash ji will hoist the party's flag after garlanding the pictures/statues of great men at the BJP state office at 8.30 am. After that, from 9.30 am, workers will listen to the address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and National President JP Nadda by hoisting flags at all district, divisional offices, booths including the state office auditorium.

The District President and Mandal President will hoist the party flag at the District Office and Mandal Office. The party will also organize  “social justice week”  which will be from foundation day to the birth anniversary of Bhim Rao Ambedkar on April 14.  The BJP will observe nationwide programmes to commemorate Ambedkar, a freedom fighter, social reformer, economist, architect of India’s constitution and an icon especially for Dalits.

The BJP was founded on April 6, 1980 after leaders of the erstwhile Jana Sangh quit the Janata Party to launch a new party.

The party's origins lie in the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, which was founded in 1951 by Indian politician Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.  After The Emergency of 1975–1977, the Jana Sangh merged with several other political parties to form the Janata Party; it defeated the then-incumbent Indian National Congress in the 1977 general election.

After three years in power, the Janata Party dissolved in 1980, with the members of the erstwhile Jana Sangh reconvening to form the modern-day BJP. Although initially unsuccessful—winning only two seats in the 1984 general election, it grew in strength on the back of the movement around Ram Janmabhoomi in Uttar Pradesh.  Presently the biggest party in the country with more than 300 Lok Sabha MPs along with governments in more than dozen states.
