The district unit of BJP organised a picket at Barwa Toli chowk for not constructing East Gola road in the head of District president Rakesh Prasad. In the picket many party members and locals took part.
Prasad said, “The construction of the road started five years back but it still incomplete because of murky dealing. The vigilance department has also not worked out yet which raises a question mark on the department. If it won’t be completed soon, BJP will start a stepped movement and will organise picket against the administration.
The secretary of commerce chamber Ritesh Kumar said, “In the favour of this public welfare work the chamber will cooperate.” Ex MlA Ramesh Oraon said, “Earlier MC has started the construction work but it was not according to the estimated norms and a expenditure of 13 lakhs was shown that was unsatisfactory to the result of the work.
The administration has not shown any interest regarding to its vigilance. So, the work has been stopped.”
