The meeting will be attended by president of booth level committees, officials of various wings of the party and officials of block and above block level committees.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday State BJP Chief, Laxman Gilua said, “The Narendra Modi government, since its formation in 2014, has worked for betterment of poor as in his first address in the parliament the PM had said that this government is dedicated to poor.

The government has started a numbers of poor welfare programmes including Jan Dhan scheme, Prime Minister Awas Yojna (PMAY), Prime Minister Irrigation Scheme (PMIS), Beti Padhao Beti Bachao Yojna, Ayshman Bharat Yojna, Ujjwala Yojna etc.”

Criticising the earlier governments of Congress Party, Gilua said, “In 60 years of its Prule the party electrified only 3.5 crore households but the present government has electrified more than 35 crore households in last four and half years.

Almost all households were electrified there are some cases but it will be completed in two or three months. As former PM Rajiv Gandhi had said in Rs 100 only Rs 15 reached to the poor but due to the emphasis digital India programme in Rs 100 the poor gets all Rs 100.”

With a view to doubling farmers’ income the government has brought changes in rule of minimum support price and to provide water to every farmland the government has started PMIS, said the State party chief and further added that under Congress run housing scheme for poor called Indira Awas Yojna, the scheme was completely failed because the house was too small to live now the PMAY run by the present government is highly successful and its target to provide home for poor is 2022 but in Jharkhand it will be completed in 2020.

Lauding the efforts to provide reservation to economically backward of general classes Gilua said the Central government has provided 10 per cent reservation to the class as the government’s main motto is ‘Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas’.

On the issue of para teachers Gilua said that some people are not trying to resolve the issue.

“To settle down the matter the government has once again constituted a committee to talk to them and the government is ready to fulfill many of their demands.”

The BJP State General Secretary, Dipak Pradesh and the party State Spokesperson Dindayal Barnwal were also present on the occasion.
