State BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo on Thursday taunted Bihar new deputy chief minister and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav by gifting him a pen reminding him of his poll promise of providing 10 lakh jobs to youths in Bihar.

Shahdeo, today couriered a pen to Bihar deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav saying that Lalu’s son had promised 10 lakh jobs from the first signature, now he has no excuse left and he should not say that he had forgotten to bring a pen. “We have bought a pen for you. Today I am couriering you from Ranchi to Patna,” said Shahdeo.

Shahdeo targeting the JDU RJD government said that Tejashwi ji, you have come to power through the back door by hijacking the mandate with Paltu uncle. Nevertheless, with a big heart, I congratulate you on becoming the Deputy CM. “Let me remind you of the promise made to provide employment to 10 lakh youth of Bihar in the Vidhan Sabha elections. You should not be influenced by Paltu uncle. That's why I am sending this pen immediately. If you fulfill your promise, then perhaps the habit of your elder brother sitting on the post of CM in Jharkhand will improve,” added Shahdeo.

Tejashwi Yadav has become the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar for the second time. Earlier, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav served as Deputy chief minister of Bihar from 2015 to 2017. The political doors in Bihar have opened wide for RJD as a result of major rifts between the JD(U) and BJP, allowing Tejashwi Yadav to become the new face of the state.

However, in Patna Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday asserted that the newly formed government will fulfil the promise of providing 10 lakh jobs he had made during RJD’s campaign for the 2020 Assembly elections.

“There are several vacant posts in government departments. We will start by filling these up. Just for the time till we become fully functional after proving a majority on the floor of the Assembly,” Yadav  said to media persons.
