The State BJP unit on Monday carried out demonstrations across the State over corruption cases against Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The BJP demonstration, which started today, will continue till November 13 and it will be in all blocks of state. BJP Jharkhand State President cum Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash participated in the programme of Dumaria block of East Singhbhum district.

Addressing the gathering at Aakrosh March, Prakash said that the incumbent Chief Minister of the State Hemant Soren will be called the former Chief Minister very soon. Highlighting the failures of the Hemant government, Prakash said that the State government has achieved power by misleading the people of the State by making false promises in its manifesto. He had said that as soon as he came to power, he promised to give employment to 5 lakh people, but even after the passing of three years the promise is yet to be fulfilled. Loan up to 2 lakh of farmers will be waived, farmers will be given electricity free of cost, but none of the promises has been met by the state government. The present government of the state has not been able to fulfil even one of its promises.

He said that contrary to poll promises, the State government has started stanching jobs given to tribal and backward people of the State by the previous BJP government. Former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, while addressing a protest meeting organized in Gandey block of Giridih district today against the corruption of the Hemant government of the State.

“State Chief Minister Hemant Soren will continue to be in and out of jail like former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, who had also looted government properties, the result of which is that today he is in jail in old age. Sometimes they come out and sometimes they go in. The same fate is going to happen with Hemant Soren as well,” said Marandi.

Speaking on the corruption that took place in Jharkhand during the tenure of JMM government, Marandi said that since the time Hemant Soren's government was formed in this State, the development work in this State has come to a standstill. Be it government officials or the State police, all together under the protection of the government are busy looting the state. The job of the police is to catch the criminals but the opposite is happening here. The police are protecting them, if any poor person goes to complain, then a false case is registered against him.

Marandi said that coal, sand and stone are being stolen in the State, now it is also being seen that if people like any land, they are looting that land too. Even DCs, COs, SPs are not listening to the complaint of robbery because they too have orders from above.
