The State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday expressed concern over poor law and order situation of the State and termed unfortunate the ransom incident of Sahibganj businessman Arun Kumar Shah.
State BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo demanded that the State Government should give free hand to the State Police to break morale of criminals. The criminals also opened fire at police team which was investigating Shah's case and also injured a police personnel, he added.
“Some criminal gangs are engaged in breaking law and order situation of the State. The State Government should suppress them. Providing proper law and order situation is duty of the State Government so that the Government should take proper decision to bring improvement in it," said Shahdeo.
The Spokesperson said that similarly in an incident at Rajmahal a girl was raped and the criminals fired bullets at the resident of the victim. Such kinds of incidents are unfortunate and the State Government should immediately construct fast track courts, he added.
