PNS

BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi today took a big dig at the Indi Alliance. Marandi said that on the auspicious occasion of 76th Republic Day, when the whole country was expressing its faith in the Constitution and democracy, the incident of breaking the biggest statue of Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar in Amritsar, Punjab shook the whole country.

He said that this cowardly act has not only hurt the honor of Baba Saheb, but has also insulted the Indian Constitution and the Dalit society.

Marandi said that that this incident directly raises serious questions on the intentions of the Aam Aadmi Party and the India Alliance and their alleged loyalty towards Baba Saheb. He said that the silence of Rahul Gandhi, who roams everywhere with the Constitution in his hand, and the leaders of the India Alliance, who talk about the rights of Dalits on every platform, is shameful in this matter.

Dalit bodies held massive protests in Amritsar on Monday against an attempt to vandalise a life-size statue of B R Ambedkar by a man on Republic Day, while Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann asserted that exemplary punishment will be ensured in the matter.

Police on Sunday arrested Akash Singh, a resident of Dharamkot in Punjab’s Moga district, for allegedly attempting to damage the Ambedkar statue at the Town Hall on Heritage Street that leads to the Golden Temple.

The state BJP has expressed its gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for continuously honouring the talents of Jharkhand with Padma awards. And congratulated and wished Jharkhand's folk singer Mahavir Nayak.

Meanwhile, Marandi has extended his heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Jharkhand's famous folk singer Mahabir Nayak ji on being honoured with the Padma Shri award.

Marandi said that Mahabir ji, famous for Bhinsariya Raga, has made an incomparable contribution to the prosperity and preservation of Jharkhand's art and culture through Nagpuri songs.

Executive President Dr. Ravindra Kumar Rai said that the Modi government is continuously honouring the talents of Jharkhand with Padma awards. This is an honour for Jharkhand's art, culture and three and a half crore people.

BJP's outgoing state president and MP Deepak Prakash met Shri Mahavir Nayak, who has been honoured with the Padma award, today.

He said that through the Padma awards, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is working to honour the hidden Kohinoors of the country and in this series, Guddi ke Lal Shri Mahabir Nayak ji has been selected for the Padma Shri award.
