Ongoing visit of Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das in Santhal Pargana area has completely destroyed the hold of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) in the region, said BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo on Sunday.
“Thousands of people are gathering in the meetings of the CM and it is gaining a huge support. JMM thinks Santhal Paragana as its bastion and the so called stronghold of the party is on the verge of demolition” Shahdeo added.
Criticising the JMM he said, “At present the BJP is in a better condition than JMM in Santhal Pargana region. BJP has seven MLAs while JMM has only six MLAs in the region. The Party’s has set target to win 15 seats out of total 18 seats of the region. People of the region know that JMM thinks since long time that tribal and local are vote bank.” Applauding development work of the present State government Shahdeo said, “The region has given three CMs of the State but only in leadership of Raghubar Das a large numbers of development work has been done. The CM has opened AIMS medical college, Airport in Deoghar, Bridge and port on river Ganga, net of roads, improvement of water supply scheme and it has started postal scheme for primitive tribal.”
He further said, “Once upon a time it looked like that Santhal Pargana was not part of the State but now it has been linked with mainstream of development.
Some organisations have provided opportunities to anti Indian sources to grow but BJP will not allow them to fulfill their desire.
With a conspiracy JMM has prevented development of Santhal Pargana and kept the people of the area away from development.” Shahdeo added, People of the region will not allow using them as vote bank they will vote for BJP on the basis of development.
