BJP chief attacks Govt over tardy pace of Central schemes

PNS

BJP state president and party Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash has strongly criticized the JMM/Congress coalition government for the tardy pace of the Modi government’s ambitious scheme ‘Har Ghar Nal Jal Yojana’ in the state.

Prakash said that the present government is anti-development government. It has nothing to do with the development programs of the state.

He said that this government does not make any plans of its own and nor does operate the schemes run with by Centre properly.

He said that hanging and diverting of Central schemes is included in the intention of the State government. Prakash said that the problem of drinking water is old in Jharkhand. People are compelled to drink water of Chuwan pond. Women have to travel long distances to fetch drinking water in rural areas. In such a situation, the Har Ghar Nal Jal Yojana of the Modi government will prove to be a boon for the state. But it is unfortunate that this government has kept this scheme in cold storage.

He said that reaching the maximum 17 percent of the households so far under the scheme exposes this negligence. He said that in many districts, only 10 per cent work has been done in this scheme. The BJP leader urged the state government for early expansion of schemes.
