BJP leaders and workers celebrated the 93rd birthday of veteran leader cum ex-Prime Minister of the country Atal Bihari Vajpayee on Monday with enthusiasm organising programmes at different locations and prayed for the long life of their most loved leader.
The main programme of birthday was organised at local BJP office Atal Bhawan where district president Tunnu Gope, mayor Hazaribagh Municipal Corporation Anjali Kumari and others took part in the Vedic rituals cum prayer for the long life of their leader and distributed sweets among the workers present. Paritosh Mishra completed the puja specially organised for the health and life of BJP veteran.
Another birthday celebration programme was organised in the town office of BJP MlA Manish Jaiswal situated near Jhanda Chowk. In this programme his father, Ex-district board President Brajkishore Jaiswal cut the cake which was distributed among the workers. MPs representatives Prof. Surendra Sinha, senior worker Kali Sao and others spoke on this occasion regarding the simple nature of their beloved leader.
At Prabhu Nivash market another celebration took place in which leaders of other parties were also present. In the birthday ceremony organized by Bhaiya Abhimanyu Prasad and others everyone prayed for the long life of the founder of new BJP and paid their respect by garlanding on his portrait. Here too sweets were distributed among the party workers and general people.
The most remarkable comment on this day was made by ex-BJP district president Bhaiya Banke Bihari who recalled the public meeting of Vajpayee at Hazaribagh in 1998 when Bhaiya Banke Bihari was presiding the meeting.
Recalling the moment Bhaiya Banke Bihari said that the starting words of ex-PM still echoes in his ears till now which were “Aap Sabhi Bihariyon Aur Hamari Iss Sabha Ke Adhyakch Bhaiya Banke Bihari Ko Dil Se Ek Bihari (Atal Bihari) Ka Dhanyavad, Mere Intezaar Me Itna Samay Bitane ke Bavajood, Dhyan Se Mujhe Sunane Ke liye”.
