The State BJP has highlighted the alleged poor upkeep of dairies and hatcheries in State.
State BJP spokesperson, Pradeep Sinha said that while on one hand milch cattle are starving due to scarcity of fodders in State dairy farms, the state government is interested in giving royal treatment to Bihar former chief minister Lalu Prasad accused in multi crore fodder scam.
Lalu convicted in fodder scam has been put at RIMS director bungalow on health ground.
Sinha said due to animal husbandry department negligence, dairy farms and hatcheries in State are on verge of closure as State government is least bothered to even release fund for purchasing fodder for milch animals.
Sinha claimed that the conditions of hatcheries is even worse.
Hatcheries is facility where eggs are hatched under artificial conditions especially those of fish or poultry.
The BJP leader highlighted the condition of three dairies and hatcheries in State which includes dairies at Hotwar in Ranchi, Goria Karma in Hazaribagh and those at Saraikela Kharsawan districts.
He claimed that due to less supply of fodders the milk giving capacities of these animals has gradually declined.
The BJP leader claimed that poor upkeep of dairies has come at the time when Union Government is planning second operation flood in country.
Operation flood or white revolution is linked with milk production through which government is inviting more and more persons to become part of white revolution.
The Government has even dole out schemes and incentives for fish and poultry production.
