The Bhartiya Suraaj Dal (BSD) is gearing up for the assembly elections in Jharkhand and has begun the process of searching candidates suitable for representing people in State Assembly.
The fledgling party has invited suggestions from people through email. The party is likely to field candidates in all Assembly seats in Jharkhand. In a press communiqué, the party criticised prominent political parties and blamed them for reneging on the promises made to the people.
Vying for a foothold in State politics the party communicated its vision and mission for the State vis-à-vis the alleged apathy of national parties. The party claimed that its existence is not a mere coincidence but a careful and rational decision taken to address people’s problem besides the problems faced by the State.
Mentioning Naxalism of all ideologies as an impediment to growth party, president PK Siddharth said that as Superintendent of Police at Palamu in 1991-92 he found the exact reason for the rise of Naxals. According to Siddharth the system can only give pain to poor and it is biased towards rich and influential people.
The party claimed that it has the ‘magic formula’ to address the problem of Naxalism and also termed Naxals as people fighting for a change, though through wrong means. The BSD believes that their plans to control Naxalism will be liked by Naxals as well as people of the State.
