There should be transparency and punctuality in development plans. The dilly dally attitudes of the officers will not be tolerated in any case, this was said by Minister of State for Rural Development, Government of India Sudarshan Bhagat in a meeting of vigilance committee that lasted late evening on Monday. The meeting started at 12 in the noon and lasted till late evening.
Minister of State for Rural Development, Government of India Sudarshan Bhagat and lohardaga MlA Kamal Kishor Bhagat passed many directions in the meeting. After the meeting DC Manjunath Bhajantri said, “Direction was given to complete the plans of road constructions till May and June. The causes of the uncompleted plans related to education, health and electricity were asked.
Sudarshan Bhagat told that in constructions of 20 roads out of 50 under PGMSY have been completed. For last 4 to 5 years these plans have not been completed. They directed to get rid of all the hurdles and complete the works. Many roads under PGMSY plan have been constructed directly by Rural Development Department.”
The MP also released a show cause to the technical officer authorized by central govt as he was absent in the meeting. Bhagat told that this is the plan of development of the rural areas. To compromise with quality work will not be tolerated. In the matter of road construction of East Gola Road the people involved in corruption will be recognized. The construction of by pass road from Manho, Juria and Ekaguri should be started soon.
As well the ruined electric wires will be changed. Central govt has passed instructions related to underground electric wire system. DC would take sought of the situations of renovation of lalit Narayan Stadium to the chief lawyer. The town hall will also be renovated.
For this the approval will be taken from municipality and district council. Because of pollution everyone is disturbed. A road map will be made to remove the dumping yard and shift to another place.
A committee has been set up to take action against the illegal bauxite dumping in the head of SDO. MP also took sought of people of Aadim Community of Pakhar mines those were in problem due to the mining of bauxite. The Nadia- Juria road will be widened soon and the construction of by pass will be started soon.
In the meet the review upon the matters of prior organized meeting of vigilance department was done. Bhagat took sought of the matters of bridges of Kandra and Korambe, electrification in Peshrar, market shade for rural development and facility of community library and employment to the youth under skill development. Under Saryu action plan a scheme was started that was named as Peshrar Action Plan. It was sent to the state govt for approval. A transformer of 10 MB was installed to provide the need of electricity.
