PCC president Sukhdeo Bhagat sent out a tough message to the observers appointed in all districts of Jharkhand. In a meeting of observers on Tuesday, Bhagat said that those who had kept themselves alienated from the programmes of the party should be replaced by active party workers.
The president also took stock of the tasks given to the observers for the districts and pressed for completing this within the given time frame. He also instructed the leaders to sent regular feedbacks to the party office in Ranchi.
“The tasks have been given based on the instructions received during the Congress’ Jaipur chintan shivir.
We also want to ensure that welfare schemes and measures run by the UPA at the Centre reach common man,” said Bhagat.
He also reiterated the formula reached between JMM and Congress on seat sharing in the lok Sabha polls so that the party can reap best possible results. Bhagat also appointed Rajesh Kumar Shukla in-charge of membershipdrive in Jharkhand.
