The vice chancellor(VC) of Binod Bihari Mahto Koylaanchal University (BBMKU) has lambasted Dr Binod Kumar, the nominee of Raj Bhawan in university syndicate, for his alleged filthy words he spoke during the syndicate meeting that was held on Wednesday at university campus here.
Talking to media persons VC Dr Sukhdeo Bhoi alleged that Dr Kumar was here with a political agenda and due to his attitude to hijack the meeting by setting his agenda the syndicate meeting ended without holding any discussions on a pre-set agenda.
According to VC Dr Kumar also tried to dominate senior university officials including registrar, CCDC and some principals during the said meeting.
According to VC Dr Kumar claimed him to be a relative of Health minister Banna Gupta and also to have close association with Dhanbad and Bokaro MLAs as he happens to be associated with RSS.
It's worth mentioning that Dr Binod had raised issues of inter admission, irregularities in appointments in class three and four categories as well as on different posts of University besides other issues. This had created a row in the meeting and Kumar too was affected by University officials.
The VC claimed that things are going smoothly in the university and BBMKU happens to be one of the best functioning universities of Jharkhand in all respects.
