Battery of senior BJP leaders reach Palamu

PNS

A battery of top BJP leaders descended today in Palamu. The destinations were different but the purpose was the same. It was to ensure poll victory in all the 9 seats here, which will go to poll on November 30.

BJP National executive president J P Nadda, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Union Minister Arjun Munda came today in Palamu in two choppers one with Nadda and Munda landed in Chiyanki, while Gadkari reached Bishrampur having a distance between Chiyanki and Bishrampur of 44 Kms. Nadda and Munda attended a workers meet at Chiyanki. Sources said the workers meet wherein were present core committee members of the party were to dilute the discontent and anger of the BJP men who are too peeved with candidates in the poll ring.

Sources said that just eight weeks ago Nadda had a similar workers meet here in Daltonganj which was seen as a warm up to this Assembly election but this Friday’s workers’ meet attended by him and Munda speak voluminously that workers have not till date put in their best for the BJP candidates and senior leaders just want cadres to jump whole heartedly for the BJP candidates.

Gadkari at Bishrampur asked voters to vote for Ramchandra Chandravanshi, who is contesting second term on Lotus symbol here. Gadkari hammered hard Congress and accused the party of duping people of the nation by giving a slogan Garibi Hatao, while its own leaders chanting this slogan became richer and richer.

Narender Pandey district president of BJP said O P Mathur and Dharampal Singh too would be addressing cadres for the PM Narendra Modi’s November 25 visit here.

BJP sources said such a number of leaders had never come in a day here in the past as this time and the ghost of Saryu Roy’s Independent fighting Chief Minister Raghubar Das is very much on the back of the State and Central leadership of the BJP.
