The students of Vinoba Bhave University and local colleges are unhappy with the carelessness of a private bank’s management. The district administration has given it amount of scholarship to distribute among the students of ST/SC and OBC students of session 2015-16 last month and it has yet not transferred the amount to the accounts of the students.
The date of filling up of examination form of TYDC part III course is at its end while the date for filling forms of semester exam of PG has already finished. In this crucial time when students were in much need of money the bank failed to send the amount in their accounts so the students are angry and are preparing to launch agitation against the bank.
According to sources the district welfare office gave an amount of Rs. 16863634 to IndusInd Bank by letter no. 270 dated 18.02.2016 with a direction to e-transfer scholarship amounts in the accounts of selected students. Generally it takes about 10 days time but now more than three weeks have passed.
When asked about it, the Regional Manager of Indusind Bank Rajkamal said that for e-transfer we need to develop excel sheet and 20 days are required for it. Our bank is known for its better service and assured that soon amounts will be transferred in the accounts of all students.
