For the last one week, the hope of finding cash in all three ATMs of State Bank of India and one of Bank of India, Bokaro Thermal branch faded for the residents of the Thermal city and its surrounding areas. There were just four functioning Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) of SBI and one at Bank of India in the heart of Bokaro Thermal till Friday as banks remained cashless for the last eight day running, There is no cash to refill the machines only in Bokaro Thermal .This problem has been going on for the past one week, said local customers

They will have to must go in branches to withdrawal their money and one could transaction ranging from Rs 10,000 at a time.
A customer said, “I visited all five ATMs in the stretch of road .There is no cash, lastly I visited the branch office and withdrawn small amounts of money and I never thought in my dream, this will happen with me.”
Cashing in on the crisis, we have been fully dependant on the mercy of the local shopkeepers for our daily domestic need as I have less cash resulted how could have manage my house, said senior citizen of Bokaro Thermal .
As per information, the locals who do not have ATM cards are worst-hit. Shutting down of ATMs in Bokaro Thermal has sent them in a tizzy, forcing many of them to visit their known shopkeepers for getting some material on credit .For the knowing the comments of local branch manager Ravindra Verma over mobile, he could not received the mobile .
