Team of Jharkhand Assembly's petition committee reached Garhwa under the chairmanship of MlA Menaka Sardar on Saturday. The team held a review meeting with the officials of different departments and gave necessary instructions to them.
The Chairman said that the situation of education and power in the district is in a bad state. It needs improvement. She instructed the officials to improve on the two fronts.
In this connection a report will be submitted to the Assembly Speaker and the Government.
Sardar said that the result of the matriculation and intermediate examination in the district has been very bad. To overcome the shortage of teachers, subject wise teachers will be deputed on daily or hour basis.
The team members said that according to the reports received from various departments, the development work is being done from the received funds but their speed is slow. It has been asked to fast. Based on the report received, the departmental secretaries will be reviewed.
Seraikela MlA Dashrath Gagrai, DRDA Director, Onil Odrya, Ranka SDO Javed Anwar Idrishi, Danda BDO Parvez Shahid, CO Baijnath Kamati, Assistant Director of District Social Security Department Piyush, DSWO Shalini Vijay, Sub- Registrar Rupesh Sinha etc. were present.
