Annual Excavation Motivation Day was celebrated at Vichar Manch CCl Headquarters on Sunday. On this occasion 51 officers in 17 various categories were awarded for their extraordinary performance. Subir Chandra, Director (P&P), Arbind Prasad, Chief Vigilance Officer, Malay Kumar, GM (Excv), GM (CRS), MK Srivastava and other officers of Excavation Deptt from CCl headquarters and area were present on this occasion.
In his address Director (P&P), Subir Chandra congratulated the prize winners. He said that CCl has performed exceptionally well in last 3 years, and contribution of excavation department has been highly appreciable. Today majority of coal production is being done through open cast mine which makes the role of excavation department very crucial for incremental growth in coal production. He asked the officers to lay special emphasis on safety.
Chief Vigilance Officer, Arbind Prasad asked the officers to ensure capacity building of junior officer working under them. He said that CCl has set new benchmarks in coal production and to continue this trend we need to work with full dedication and transparency.
Addressing the gathering GM (Excv), Malay Kumar said that this program has been organised to motivate officer for their performance through their felicitation. He added that excavation department has been focusing on increasing the productivity of the company and various step has been taken for the same. He asked the officers to give equal importance to training and knowledge sharing among employees.
