Jharkhand State Minorities Commission’s (JSMC) president Dr Shahid Akhtar has been selected as the Joint Secretary of Pune-based Muslim Rashtriya Manch. The body’s National leader Indresh Kumar confirmed the same at the inaugural ceremony of Martyr Ashfaqullah Khan Memorial Trust at Fatima Nagar in Pune on Tuesday. BJP National Spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain was also present at the event Tuesday and led a rally in memory of Martyr Khan while felicitating the martyr’s son. Dr Shahid Akhtar made an announcement of donating `1 lakh to the trust.
