AJSU unveils 'Vision Document' for development

PNS

Calling Jharkhand different from the other States in Country having a large number of tribes, languages and community AJSU Chief Sudesh Mahto, launched a ‘Vision Document’ on the lines of which the party wants to take the State on the path of development. Mahto claimed that it was not a merely document but a blueprint of the dreams which the party has seen for the State.

“It is not as simple as we say that the Jharkhand is like any other State which had to struggle in its own country for over a century for its sovereignty,” Mahto said. One cannot prepare the developmental programmes sitting in New Delhi on the same parameters for all the states in the Country as Jharkhand is not among one of them, he added.

Mahto further added that due to several reasons, the State did not get a chance of developing itself politically; neither political leadership was developed in the State.

“We want to create a clean and confident atmosphere in Jharkhand. Our vision document covering all sections of the society and sectors will definitely put the State in the top league of States,” Mahto added.

Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani while addressing the gathering claimed that regional parties have done a good job in some of the southern States and there are fair chances performing well in Jharkhand too.

“Sudesh Mahto, AJSU party, as well as Jharkhand — all are young. The aspirations of people are unfulfilled and that’s why definitely there is a sense of frustration among the people, but the hope has not yet broken in the State,” said Nathwani. Jharkhand needs the will power to take off which could only be brought through a stable Government in the State and AJSU party is working hard in this regard,” added the Rajya Sabha MP.

The document of the party has been prepared by the intellectual wing of the party stressing on education, health, farming along with the possibility of fresh employment for the youth of the State. Mahto said that the party is considering the as a commitment for the people of the state putting our views in it. The document, having over 35 promises in it, assures curbing corruption through empowered lokpal and fast track courts.

Every individual wants a suitable environment in the state but some of the political parties are not letting their dreams come true. “But we are determined to make the dreams of the people of this state come true,” Mahto said.

While giving his opinion on the document, ex Chief Secretary AK Singh said the document is excellent but the party will have a lot of problem in bringing it on the ground. Good governance is the key to implement this vision document,” said Singh.
