PNS

On the occasion of first anniversary of JMM-Congress-RJD coalition government in the State, Former Deputy Chief Minister, Sudesh Mahto led AJSU Party observed ‘Vishwasghat Diwas’ (Betrayal Day) on Tuesday and attacked Chief Minister, Hemant Soren's government for “failure on various fronts”.

At a function organised at the party headquarter in the State Capital, Mahto said that one year has completed of the JMM, Congress and RJD Government but during this, public sentiments of Jharkhand have been disrespected and this is betrayal of the public sentiment.

"The party, which talked about water, forest and land, broke its promise. The JMM has said that pension for Jharkhand revolutionaries have been stalled for more than three months. The revolutionaries are taking a sit-in in the field for pension. The party talked about direct appointment before coming to power. The families of martyrs like Sido-Kanho, Chand-Bhairav, Birsa Munda, Nirmal Mahato should have been given direct appointment. Thousands of people who joined the movement were betrayed by them," said Mahto.

The party president said that they do not just follow the opposition's pattern only for formality. "Our workers have stood with the people in all the districts to remind the Government what it had promised a year ago and what has happened to those promises today," he added.
