The AJSU party has finally set its eye on the forthcoming lok Sabha elections and decided to contest the elections with all might. The party in its meeting on Tuesday discussed strategy for the elections. The meeting was held in the chairmanship of party chief Sudesh Kumar Mahato.
Taking first step in the direction the party today announced lok Sabha in-charge in as many as four constituencies. While party MlA Kamal Kishor Bhagat has been given charge of lohardaga constituency, former MlA loknath Mahato has been given responsibility of Hazaribagh. Besides, MlA Tileshwar Sahu has been made in-charge of Chatra and Maulana Nazrul Hasan Hashmi has been made in-charge of Koderma parliamentary constituency. The party has decided to raise the issue of special status for the state in the coming elections besides mobilising people through events like “Run for Jharkhand”.
