The All India Peoples Forum (AIPF) opened a vase of about half a dozen issues concerning commoners here in Daltonganj on Thursday June 18. The team comprised Binod Singh ( former CPI Ml MlA), Dayamani Barla ( noted civil society activist) Yugal Pal ( a former top Naxal) Anant Pd Gupta, Anil Anshuman and others. The AIPF listed its issues in a press release. The team took up the case of hut burning of dalit and tribal at Anhari Dhounra in Palamu's Chainpur.
More than half a dozen huts were set on fire by the criminals a few months back. The AIPF demanded justice to the victims. The AIPF team took up the case of a minor girl in Betla wherein a CRPF cop is accused of making a criminal bid on her chastity. The team taking strong exception to administration's action against two Maley leaders Kanhai Singh and Birju Ram charged that the culprit is safe while those who raised voice against this were implicated in false case and the team demanded withdrawal of case against these two Maley leaders and others. As for Bakoriya killing of 12 people the AIPF wanted a high level judicial probe. The AIPF strongly demanded a CBI probe into the day light murder of Prahlad Sao in chandwa . Sao was gunned down on June 15. The AIPF team felt that civil and police failed miserably here in this case.
The team wanted suspection of two officials there the SDO and the OC Chandwa. A press release on the letter head of AIPF read this.The DIG of police Saket Kumar Singh said ' In Sao's case some vital leads have been discovered by the police and there would be a definite action on this'. On being asked that AIPF has demanded a CBI probe the DIG said ' So long the case is under police it will be minutely and effectively investigated'.The AIPF has announced to observe ' Apaatkal Virodhi Diwas' in Daltonganj on June 26 also read the press release.
