Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey held a meeting on preparations of Independence Day in the Collectorate on Monday. Chief Minister Hemant Soren will hoist the national flag at Morhabadi Ground on August 15.
Personnel from around 15 para-military, police and military forces will participate in the parade. Chaubey instructed the officials to complete the barricading of the ground by August 7. Ranchi Municipal Corporation has been instructed to provide adequate drinking water tanks for the soldiers during their practice session from August 8 to 13.
