District health and administrative officials now feel shortage of oxygen flow meter( OFM) and mask here though claims to have abundance of oxygen for covid patients.
The issue came to fore while it started conducting raids at different locations late Thursday night to get the OFM and oxygen mask .
Raids were conducted at two locations and from one action six OFM were recovered that were kept for extending help to poor patients in need .
The raids were conducted by ADM law and order Chandan Kumar and SDM Satyendra Kumar .
Later, talking to media persons the ADM said, "We have sufficient quantities of oxygen cylinders of different sizes available for covid patients. However, there is a shortage of OFM that happens to be one of important components for regulating oxygen flow for the patients. The six of those have been taken away and kept with a businessman for hospital use."
The administrative officials also appealed from people not to hord life saving items .
