Adivasi Sarna Mahasabha has threatened to launch its campaign at the national level until and unless Sarna Code was implemented in the State. Adiwasi Sarna Mahasabha on Tuesday staged a day long protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi demanding saran code for Tribals in the state.
"Our protest will continue until Sarna Code is not given to us," said convener of Adivasi Sarna Mahasabha Shiva Kacchap. According to the members of Samiti, Tribals were being attacked from all sides with a conspiracy to finish the existence of Tribal population. "Not including religion into census itself shows the inefficiency of the state government which the tribal community was not able to consume," Kacchap added. According to an official release issued by Adivasi Sarna Mahasabha, attempts were being done in a planned way under a conspiracy. Where did the Tribals have gone, still remains a big question, it said.
