Aditional Chief Secretary of Energy Department RK Srivastava along with Managing Director JUVNl Rahul Purwar held a review meeting with the Palamu MP BD Ram, MlA Satyendra Nath Tiwari MlA Bhanu Pratap Shahi, Garhwa DC Neha Arora and energy department officials at DCs chamber on Tuesday.
After meeting Srivastwa expressed satisfactory on ongoing work of energy department here. He said that at present 88 villages of the district are not electrified, which would be electrified by December 2016. 24/7 days power supply would be provided in the district by December, 2016. At present 18 to 20 hours electric supply are providing in urban areas while 8 to 10 hours in rural areas.The renovation of wire, transformers, conductors etc work is going on.
1,600 transformers are burnt in the district. Underground cabling would be done in urban areas.Superintending Engineer CS Thakur, Plamu GM Cl Roy and others were present in the meeting.
