An anti-corruption team (ACB) from Palamu arrested a Junior Engineer of Dhurki Block, Basant Kumar, while taking Rs 5,000 bribe from Rameshwer Gond, a resident of Ketma village under Dhurki police station of the district, on Friday.
According to DIG ACB ,Ranchi Gond had issued a work order to construction of PPC road. When he contact to the JE for booking of MB for the payment. The JE demanded Rs 5000/ as a bribe for booking of MB.later he contacted the bureau and lodged complaint against junior engineer. A team of ACB Palamu laid a trap and arrested to the JE.The DIG informed that it is fourth trapping case of Palamu and 54th case of Ranchi in 2017.
