The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) has lodged a case of misuse of funds against its Ex-VC Dr Arvind Kumar, Ex-Registrar Dr EN Siddique and Ex-Fianace Officer Dr. Naveen Kumar Sinha in the court. All these ex-officials have been made accused of misusing about Rs1.58 crores of the university during 2009-10.
Ex-VC Dr Arvind Kumar left VBU in the midst of his tenure and as per information he is now back in SKMU Dumka, his original place of service. Dr Naveen Kumar Sinha is a faculty member of PG department of commerce VBU nowadays and VBU is still taking the services of Dr. EN Siddique as director physiotherapy dept. though he had retired.
In the FIR ACB has alleged that these three misused the fund for their personal benefits. VC purchased a vehicle for his own use though there was a car for his use in the university. They purchased many items without any requirement, recommendation and tender.
Today teachers and staffs were talking about the similarities on the allegations proved correct in ACBs investigation and things going on presently in the university.
