New concept of 7D movies, Pandora Theater has been launched in Ranchi on Monday but it was astonishing to find that the city people are not aware about it. On talking with the people about 7D movies in their city many were found clue less about its very existence in their city, leave alone the concept.
Sales girl of Pantaloon jewellery section situated at the same building Ayushi Kumari when asked about the opening of 7D Theater expressed complete ignorance. She enquired about it and then said “I know about 3D movies but did not heard about 7D movies through we work on the upper segment of the theater still we have not heard about it”.
Student of a city college, Rahul and Abhisek who came for shopping at the Eastern Mall told, “We have heard from one of our friend about this Pandora 7D theater but we are not actually aware about it. What is this 7D movie all about”, they said we have seen 3D movies but we did not know about 7D movies in detail.
Concept of 7D movies sounds exciting and thrilling. It is said that it gives the audience an experience to mesmerize themselves into the film and feel that they are a part of it. Despite of introducing unique concept in the city, it failed to draw maximum audience towards the Theater on its opening day. The counter did not witness adequate audience as out of 16 seats 10 seats were booked for the first show six seats remained vacant.
Owner of Pandora 7D theater, Umar Khan also admitted about the lacuna.
“The reason behind this is lack of our initiative taken on the promotion scheme. Our prime concern was first to complete the project and launch the theater in the city on the date we have decided. Now we will look into its promotional aspect.
From Tuesday onwards all the Medias would start promoting and imparting knowledge on 7D movies to the city people”.
Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Arjun Munda along with his family members was present at the inauguration ceremony that was also attended by Speaker of Jharkhand Assembly CP Singh.
