Seven students of DPS Ranchi brought laurels to their school by qualifying coveted examination Indian National Physics Olympiad (INPHO), Indian National Chemistry Olympiad (INChO), Indian National Biology Olympiad (INBO), Indian National Astronomy Olympiad (INAO), Group A and Indian National Astronomy Olympiad (INAO), Group B. Total 26 students have been selected from Jharkhand in Part 2 of Indian Olympiad Qualifier (IOQ) 2022-23 thus making DPS Ranchi bag a share of 27 per cent in this success.
In INPHO there are 06 qualifiers from Jharkhand out of which 01 is from DPS Ranchi thus contributing 16.7 per cent in this category. In INChO, DPS Ranchi flag was kept high by 3 students out of a total of 6 from Jharkhand, this way occupying 50 per cent seats.
In INBO there are six qualifiers from Jharkhand out of which one is from DPS Ranchi thus contributing 16.7 per cent in this category. In INAO (Group A), there are five qualifiers from Jharkhand out of which one is from DPS Ranchi thus contributing 20 per cent in this category. In INAO (Group B), one student of DPS Ranchi out of a total of three students from Jharkhand qualified in Part 2 exam thus contributing 33.3 per cent in this category.
Principal, Dr. Ram Singh, congratulated the achievers and wished them success for their future. He said that proper guidance of the teachers; hard work and sincerity of the students always pay rich dividends. “The effort shown is praiseworthy and it signifies that the students are preparing themselves for a greater role ahead.”
