The district police association and policemen’s association has opened 69 beds Covid hospital for policemen and their dependents in the State at the Aarakshi school in the campus of Hazaribag police line.
The office bearers of the police association and police men’ association said that one of the policemen was affected with Covid-19.
"We started to search a bed in the hospitals and private hospital, but did not get the success. At the same time we have decided to open a Covid hospital especially for policemen and their dependents. We have discussed with the Hazaribag SP and DIG regarding the plan. Both the officers permitted us. We have started it in a separate block of Aarakshi school. We have arranged all the basic amenities including oxygen in the hospital," they said.
They further said that if any policemen or their dependents are infectedwith Corona, they can be admitted to the hospital. They have issued acell no.9471194960 for the availability of bed in the hospital.
Hazaribag is the first district in the state to have opened a separate Covid hospital for the policemen and their dependents.
