The State Government on Thursday transferred and posted six IAS officers. Rahul Kumar Purwar, who was waiting for posting, has been made Secretary, Higher and Technical Education Department, while Agriculture Secretary Abu Baqr Siddiqui has been given additional charge of Jharkhand State Mineral Corporation Limited (JSMDC). Siddiqui is currently in the additional charge of Secretary, Mines Department. A notification with this effect has been issued on Thursday.
Principal Secretary Woman and Child Development Avinash Kumar has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Energy Department. Kumar will hold the additional charge of Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Jharkhand Urja Vikas Nigam Limited and Managing Director of Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited.
Information and Technology Department Secretary Kripanand Jha has been appointed as Secretary, Department of Women, Child Development and Social Security, he will hold additional charge of Secretary, IT and E-governance.
Waiting for posting, Chandrashekhar, has been made Special Secretary, Home, Prisons and Disaster Management Department.
Mukesh Kumar, who is looking after the charge of Tribal Welfare Commissioner, will be in additional charge of Vice Chairman, Ranchi Regional Development Authority (RRDA), while Tourism Director Anjali Yadav has been given additional charge of Managing Director of Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation.
