Five thousand women will participate in the Women’s Right Festival -Mahila Adhikar Utsav - going to be organized on October 20 at Khelgaon Hotwar, Ranchi. All the preparations have been completed,” said DC Paramjeet Kaur at a press conference.
“To strengthen the women this festival is being organized by the State Government a total of 80 buses and seats in trains has been booked to take the women in the programme. At 7:30 they would be sent from railway station and in evening they will come back. The penal officers would be appointed to assure the safety. Facility of meal would also be available for women. All these charge has been given to DDC Chhawi Ranjan,” added DC.
From Senha block 500 women, from Bhandr4a600, from kudu 600, from Kairo 300, from Kisko 400, from Peshrar 100, from health department 300 health sahiaya, from PHED 300 water sahiya from education 200 teachers, from Vikas Bharti 100, from Chhotanagpur Craft Development Society 100, from lGSS 100, from Aviram 100, from PRADAN 100, from lohardaga block 2000 women will participate. All the district level officials and BDOs would be appointed as coordinator, DC said.
