In the month of February 2024, five departments of Bokaro Steel Plant, including CEO & CCS, Sinter Plant, Blast Furnace, SMS-(New), and HSM, have achieved a remarkable feat by reaching their 100% annual production targets.
Among the departments that have achieved the cent percent target, the CEO & CCS department conducted 513 oven pushings, the Sinter Plant produced 540,146 tons of sinter, the Blast Furnace produced 389,797 tons of hot metal, the SMS-(New) department contributed 92,727 tons of crude steel, and the Hot Strip Mill rolled out 364,875 tons, surpassing the production targets set for February 2024 by 100.58%, 117.67%, 102.04%, 113.08%, and 102.78%, respectively.
Director-in-Charge Atanu Bhomik, along with Executive Director (works) Birendra Kumar Tiwari, congratulated the entire team of the department, as well as all the supporting departments and contractual workers at Bokaro Steel, for this achievement.
