In a bizarre tragedy four labourers of Latehar district lost their lives in a line hotel in Bihar today. The four hailed from Latehar and Manika blocks, said sources.
DC Latehar Abu Imran said the information that reached indicated that the labourers were coming home from UP.
Imran said they stopped at a line hotel for refreshments at Bamhore under Shivsagar police station in Sasaram district of Bihar where a vehicle rammed into the line hotel killing four labourers of Latehar district on the spot.
Showing the humane face of the administration officials have been asked to be present on the border of Bihar Jharkhand when the bodies would be coming here in our state, said DC Latehar.
The DC Latehar said he has directed the district transport officer, district labour superintendent and SDO Latehar to ensure the bereaved families are visited upon by them as a part of sharing of their grief and reassuring them that under the provisions
of the state government post death benefits will come to them also.
