Over 215 people were checked up and treated at the health camp organised by Hindalco under CSR programme at Muri on Tuesday. A team of doctors from the aluminum company comprising Dr Manoj Pathak and Dr Niel Suwarno checked the patients and gave them medicines free of cost.
Some patients were referred to big hospitals for better treatment. The camp was inaugurated by Mukhiya of Birisiya Panchayat Gopal Singh Munda. Villagers of Birisiya and Kutam took part in the camp and requested to organise more such camps.
Hindalco, Muri, Unit Head NN Roy said that the company was committed towards fulfilling its social responsibility and it will continue serving the society with more such programmes in future. Ghanshaym Vishwakarma from HR Department, Dr Manoj Pathak, Birender Mahto, Sunil Kumar Singh, Padmalochan Mahto and others of Hindalco played major roles to make the camp a success.
