MR inoculation drive covers 2910 kids
The report released by Ranchi Civil Surgeon (CS), Dr Vijay Bihari Prasad on Friday suggested that as many as 2910 urban kids have been covered under the Measles Rubella (MR) immunization programme till date (August 3). The drive was launched here in Jharkhand on July 26. The drive aims to cover more than one crore children in the age group nine months to 15 years. Through camps and special activities at schools, the department of health and Family Welfare are trying to cover maximum children under the MR inoculation drive.
E-waste management
A School Engagement programme was organized on Friday at Kairali School, HEC, wherein representative teachers from over 20 schools participated to share and lEARN about E-Waste Management issues, challenges and take pledge to make smarter city with clean environment where we visualize inclusiveness and oneness. The awareness programme on e-waste management was organized by ‘Karo Sambhav’ with its implementation partner, Change Alliance second phase of an e-waste awareness initiative in the schools of Ranchi city, in association with the principal partner sponsors Apple, Dell, HP and lenovo.
