HC suspends Garhwa PDJ
The Jharkhand High Court on Thursday suspended Principal District and Sessions Judge of Garhwa Pankaj Srivastava, one of the accused ace shooter Tara Shahdeo torture case. Notification issued by Jharkhand High Court stated that departmental proceedings will be conducted against him and will be attached with State Headquarters. Principal Judge Bal Mukund Rai, posted at of Saraikela Family Court, will replace Srivastava.
Martyrs’ kin felicitated by KoBRA
A remembrance programme was organized at the headquarters of KoBRA Battalion was organized on Thursday where the martyr’s family members of Constables Nagwa Oraon, Fedlis Ekka, launce Nayak Ram lakhan, Hawildar Pradip Kumar Mirdha and Constable Gauri Shakar Singh by IG (CRPF) Sanjay Anand latkar. CCl CMD Gopal Singh, CEO of Deokamal Hospital Dr Anant Sinha and DPS Prinicipal Ram Singh and other dignitaries were also present during the programme.

NABARD celebrates SHG linkage
NABARD’s Jharkhand Regional Office is going to celebrate its 25 years of ‘Self Help Group – Bank linkage Programme’, the world’s largest microfinance programme on Friday. Chief Minister Raghubar Das would be the Chief Guest on the occasion. Various SHGs, Joint liability Groups (JlG) and Bank Officials across Jharkhand who have done commendable work under the SHG- Bank linkage program in the state will be felicitated therein.

Poddar bats for Ranchi-Jainagar Train
Jharkhand BJP Rajya Sabha member Sri Mahesh Poddar met with the Union Minister for Railways Suresh Prabhu regarding restoration of Ranchi - Jaynagar Express Train between Ranchi and Jayanagar, on urgent basis. This train was among the cancelled trains due to safety reasons. He discussed importance and urgency of train to be restored via alternative route.
9 from State for Bal Shree honour
Jharkhand State Bal Bhawan under aegis of Citizens Foundation has been informed of selection of nine talents, all from capital city itself, in age group of 10-16 years to represent Jharkhand on national level. They were selected in state level competition held on June 29-30 in Bokaro. Selected among them at national level would be awarded Bal Shree by the President of India in New Delhi.
