The railway engineers association of Hajipur zone deputed in Shivpur section has demanded CBI probe of the death of their fellow engineer Madhu Samajhdar.
The dead body of Madhu was found in a ditch near the camp of construction company which is constructing the new railway line between Shivpur and Tori on July 5, 2017.
According to the office bearers of engineers association the senior officials of Hajipur zone were pressurizing Madhu to allow the company to cast the bridge in 4000 bags of cements against prescribed 10000 bags of cement.
They said that the senior officials and construction company are trying to turn the case into a simple accidental one.
The office bearers of engineers association has put their demand to the central railway minister through their all India president Sanjeev Kumar and to the chief minister of Jharkhand Raghuvar Das through MP Annand Bhaskar Rapollu. The association has also raised the matter of poor working condition and the problem of security of their members working in remote areas.
