CM reviews GST status
Chief Minister Raghubar Das has directed officials to take care of traders who could come across any possible problem related to new taxation system. During a review meeting of developments of GST after it came in effect on Saturday where Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma was also present, The CM asked officials to play supportive role in rolling out GST. Commercial Tax Secretary KK Khandelwal said that a 24x7 centralised GST call centre had been started with telephone number 1800-345-7020 where all the queries related to GST were being addressed.
Ex-CS joins Congress
Former Chief Secretary Sajal Chakravorty has formally joined the Congress on Sunday. This apart, former Congressman Nial Tirkey along with former deputy mayor of Ranchi Ajay Nath Sahadeo also made entry into the party, informed PCC general secretary Alok Kumar Dubey.
